1. Heat Rashes

Continuous heat exposure can put a lot of pressure on the skin. Dust and pollution can clog the sweat ducts of the skin resulting in itchy rashes, blisters, and bumps. Rashes rubbed through clothes can be irritable to the skin.

To prevent heat rashes keep yourself clean. If you sweat a lot, bath twice a day with an antibacterial soap or body wash. To instantly soothe the irritation, rub ice cubes lightly on the affected area. If the condition persists, visit a dermatologist for complete care.

2. Sunburns

The summer sun can affect adversely on your skin causing red patches and burns. If you have sensitive skin, you are more likely to experience sunburns.

To prevent, cut down your sun exposure to the minimum possible. Apply the sunscreen which suits your skin, always apply 20 minutes before you go out in the sun. Wear the maximum skin covering clothes to eliminate direct sun contact.

3. Acne

Excessive heat and dirt are the perfect combinations for acne on the skin. If you have oily skin, you are more likely to get acne on the skin. The clogged pores in combination with bacteria on the skin accelerate the acne growth.

To prevent, keep your skin clean, wash your face frequently, avoid excessive cosmetic products on the skin. Try using gel based products rather than crème based ones to keep your face oil free.

4. Tanning

Over exposure to the sun causes tanning. The harmful UV radiation damages the skin, the skin’s melanin reacts by forming a protective shield which results in dark pigmentation.

To prevent, apply a sunscreen lotion of at least SPF 30 before going out. Wear sun glasses to protect the delicate skin around eyes. Go for natural products on your skin, apply mud packs for skin rejuvenation.

5. Dehydration

Dehydration is not just an issue related to your body, your skin also gets dehydrated. As we sweat, the natural oils are lost leaving the skin dry and irritated.

To prevent, drink a lot of water, at least 3 liters a day! include water rich fruits in your diet, try sipping fluids every half hour during the day. you can count on the hydrating skin treatments if the skin continues to be dull and dry.
