One can analyse if the patient is becoming severely dehydrated and the symptoms mentioned above are occurring quite frequently.

  • Call the doctor immediately if a person is looking severely dehydrated, if the person is passing loose stools every 1-2 hours.
  • Vomiting does not stop even after a day.
  • If a lady is pregnant and exposed to toxoplasmosis.
  • If your stools are black and tarry with blood strips in it.
  • You encounter severe belly pain.

To deal with the patient till any medical help arrives, take care of the following points :

  • Stop giving liquids to the patient.
  • Calm him down, lie him down on the bed straight.
  • Give him an antacid or the diluting medicines after consulting from a medical practitioner.

The full-fledged treatment can only take place once a person undergoes a treatment prescribed by a doctor.
