Founded from two experiences
heycare — formerly known as heynanny — was founded in 2022 by Anna Schneider and Julia Kahle. Both come from an HR background and have experienced firsthand in their own companies what it means when a corporate culture enables work-life balance – or fails to do so. Anna witnessed how mental stress leads to long-term absences. Julia resigned from her management position because a lack of support structures made it simply impossible to balance work and family life.
These experiences led us to the conviction that employees do not need superficial services, but support that really makes a difference. By combining the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with family support services – covering mental health, childcare, care for elderly relatives and pet care – we have created what was important to us: genuine, preventive relief in everyday life.
Starting with a focus on childcare, it quickly became clear: the issues that burden employees cannot be separated. That is why heynanny became heycare – a name that reflects what we truly stand for: holistic support that takes the real-life circumstances of employees into account and helps companies build a culture in which people can remain productive in the long term.
